National Institute of
Moushumi Paul, Ph.D. is a program director in the Division of Training and Workforce Development.
Prior to joining NIGMS, Paul was a researcher with USDA Agricultural Research Service. Most recently she served as a scientific review officer with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development scientific review branch.
Paul earned an A.B. in chemistry from Barnard College and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her graduate work focused on harnessing bacterial biosynthetic pathways to generate novel antibiotics. She conducted postdoctoral studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
